Ministry to Serve the Family
Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. (Col 1:28.)
What is this NEW Ministry tool?
Welcome to the Student Ministry Weekly Blog Post. We know that parents want to stay informed about opportunities for their students, and this weekly post serves as a one-stop resource for all the necessary information and encouragement. We will provide a brief post for everyone (that can be skimmed through) and sufficient information to prepare for what is next.
Here are the three areas this blog post will address:
· On the Calendar
· Message To-Go
· Legacy Stories

MESSAGE TO GO
This week, we take our last adventure up to the Mountain as we close out our ENCOURAGEMENT IN THE BEATITUDE SERIES with Matthew 5:13-16.
This week, students will learn that they are THE SALT (live to preserve the world from inherent evil and enhance the world through their Christian influence) and they are THE LIGHT (visible influence for others to see Christ's love for them).
We want to offer some questions for the family that invite conversation.

We want to offer some questions for the family that invite conversation.
HEAD - truth: Why do you think Jesus used the "salt and light" reference?
HEART - belief: Do you believe your presence can make an impact because Jesus lives within you? Why or why not?
HANDS - action: Since we are "Salt & Light," how can we express that to those around us?
LEGACY STORIES
In Acts 4:20, Peter and John had an unstoppable urge to testify of Jesus - "for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard."
Testimony of God's great work in personal lives and families can be the word that changes a life or offers needed encouragement. We believe God wants to use student and family testimonies to impact other lives and other families
