Welcome to NBC's Women's Ministry

Our verse is John 15:5 because we can do nothing without being "connected" to the Vine so that we can "connect" with each other! We currently have 9 teams within our Women's Ministry at Northside Baptist Church, so there is sure to be a place for you. Below is a list of each team within the Women's ministry and a brief description of each team:

• Discipleship-This team coordinates various Bible Studies within the church for our ladies.
• Correspondence-Composed of several ladies who send out various greeting cards to each lady in the church.
• Mentoring-This team sets up the informational Mentor/Mentee coffees, plans the training for mentors, plans the half-time refresher for mentors, and the potluck celebration at the end of the 6-month commitment
• Prayer-This team prays for any concern of any woman in the church in a very confidential manner. Everything the Women's Ministry does is bathed in prayer.
• Bakers & Takers-A baked goody and information about the Women's Ministry is delivered to each woman who visits NBC by members of this team.
• Women on Mission-This very busy team coordinates several mission projects for the church. Be sure to check out their page.
• Events-Just as the name implies, this group coordinates all aspects of Women's Ministry event planning.
• Decorating-This crafty team is in charge of decorating and cleaning up for all Women's Ministry events.
• Publicity-This team prepares the newsletters, flyers, bathroom advertising, web site information, radio and newspaper advertising when necessary.
