What is Northside UNLIMITED?
Northside UNLIMITED is our Special Needs Ministry. Our goal is to provide a safe and inviting environment for everyone to experience the love and acceptance that Jesus Christ has to offer. We match buddies with kids who are in Preschool and Elementary school during the Sunday morning 10:30am worship time.
How can you get your child involved?
If you have a child who is need of additional assistance to be able to enjoy the worship service, please use the form below to let us know more information about your child. After you submit your form, one of our Northside UNLIMITED coordinators will contact you to discuss the next steps. Please contact us before your visit to Northside, so that we can be prepared for your child.
Who leads Northside UNLIMITED?
Northside UNLIMITED is a part of the Northside Kids ministry, which is led by Amber Voigt, the Children's Director. Northside UNLIMITED is led by two highly trained coordinators with years of experience in the area of special needs education.
Katlyn McIntyre is one of the coordinators for Northside UNLIMITED. She graduated from VSU with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Special Education. She went on to UWG to receive a Master's and Specialist Degree in Special Education. She currently teaches Special Education at SL Mason Elementary in Valdosta. Katlyn, along with Jenna, helps Georgia Baptist Children's Home run Camp Hawkins during the summer, which is a camp for kids with special needs. Katlyn is married to Matthew, and enjoys traveling.
Jenna Kerr is one of the coordinators for Northside UNLIMITED. She graduated from Berry College with a Bachelor's in Health and Physical Education. She currently teaches Spanish at SL Mason Elementary in Valdosta. Jenna, along with Katlyn, helps Georgia Baptist Children's Home run Camp Hawkins during the summer, which is a camp for kids with special needs. Jenna is married to Josh and has a daughter named Selah. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and singing.
